About Stichii — browser-based embroidery digitizing software, built by one maker

Hi — I’m the solo developer who built Stichii. I made it from scratch, by myself, because I wanted a serious embroidery digitizing tool that runs in a browser, doesn’t cost four figures, and doesn’t need a Windows machine to use.

Stichii isn’t a big company. There’s no sales team, no investors, no call center — just one person who cares about getting the stitches right. That’s on purpose. It means the app stays focused, honestly priced, and shaped by the people who actually use it rather than a quarterly roadmap.

What Stichii does

  • Auto-digitizes artwork (PNG, JPG, SVG) into fully-editable embroidery objects.
  • Gives you real digitizing tools — satin, fill, run, and 15+ stitch types — with live preview.
  • Exports validated machine files: PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3, and more, straight from the browser.
  • Has a community library where makers can browse, open, remix, and share designs.

Why browser-based

Embroidery software has traditionally meant expensive, Windows-only desktop programs. Stichii runs anywhere you have a browser — your laptop, a Surface, an iPad at the machine. Your designs render right on your device, and nothing is locked to one computer.

Built in the open, improved by use

I add features based on what stitchers actually need. If something is missing, broken, or could be better, tell me — a real person reads it.
